Welcome!

Trixie Belden Fan Site!

Girl on horse

Here I combine two of my greatest loves: Trixie Belden and The Princess Bride. Trixie Belden is a children's mystery series that was published between 1948 and 1987. Unfortunately, after 39 books, the evil publishing company Western Publishing Company, Inc./Golden Books decided to pull the plug, plunging the world into darkness.

Okay, maybe it wasn't all that bad and dramatic and all, but gleeps! What are poor Trixie fans supposed to do?

Well, I'll tell ya what they do--they write new stories and put together web pages.  And, they even form their own communities! Speaking of communities, I'm proud to be a member of Jixemitri (pronounced Jix e'm eh tree), which is, much like Disneyland, the happiest place on earth! Be sure and check out their Message Board when you get a chance, and The Sun for story announcements.

Thanks to the wonderful dedication that Trixie fans have, Random House, who acquired the rights from Golden Books, is now reissuing the Trixie Belden books so that a new generation of fans can grow up with our favorite sandy-haired detective.

I hope you enjoy your time here.  For your amusement, there are stories to read, pictures to gawk at, and some thoughts on writing, among other things.  Navigation is to your left.

Please feel free to email me - I love to hear from Trixie fans.

Thanks go to Meagan for naming this site; Dana for all her help with my blog, creating graphics, and being my webmaster; Kyrie for answering many of my HTML questions, even the really dumb ass ones that showed I don't know jack about building web pages; Janette and Sue for their FrontPage advice; and to Cathy P. for giving this site a home.
