I'm telling ya...only something as totally bitchin' as Trixie Camp could get me out of bed at 3:30 am. Ack! But Dana and I had to be at the airport by 5:00 am to catch our 6:00 am flight, so there I was, asleep while standing up in the shower!

Luckily, I had Dana, the seasoned traveler, with me. I was a total zombie, excaberated by the fact that I hadn't yet had a much-needed cup of coffee. She was offering me helpful pieces of advice like, "Get your license out, you fool!" and "Will you GET your ASS to the gate?" Hahahahahaha...I'm totally kidding! She's a dream to travel with. I'm sure it was just a coincidence when she got searched at both security checkpoints!!!!!

We had about 5 hours to kill in the Springfield Airport, which has to be the dullest airport I have ever been in! But what is dull when you have Trixie friends to hang out with while you wait? Dana and I immediately found Claire, and then Dani and Gabi showed up not long after. We managed to make a plate of fries and some cokes last about 4 hours before heading down to Baggage Claim to meet Mark, Angelique and Jenni J!

We all piled in an enormous white van (which was promptly named "The Great White Whale") and giggled-n-gabbed until we reached our lovely little cabins in the woods (managing to pick up Jennifer Skidmore along the way). A storm promptly hit, mirroring the storm that the BWGs encounter when they first arrive at Uncle Andrew's lodge. And best of all, it got rid of all the humidity and we had the most amazing weather for the rest of our trip. Woo hoo!

Anyway, that's enough talk. I'm not here to talk. I'm here to PUMP...YOU UP! (huh heh huh heh huh heh... I said "pump"!)
